Slip Knot
A knot formed with a bight so that pulling the designated release end can undo it.
The term can describe different slipped arrangements and is sometimes confused with a sliding noose. A quick-release feature can also cause unintended release, so identify the actual knot and its loaded parts rather than assuming every arrangement called a slip knot behaves alike.
