Number 4 (Morse Code)
The International Morse Code numeral 4, represented by dot dot dot dot dash (….-).
A dot lasts one signal unit and a dash three. Elements within this character are separated by one unit; the gap between characters is three units and the gap between words is seven units.
Morse may be sent by sound, radio carrier, light or other agreed means. Accurate timing matters more than drawing literal dots and dashes, and operators should use the applicable procedure for calls, repetitions, errors and distress traffic.
