The area takes its name from the bank. Forecasts for Fisher describe expected wind, weather, visibility and sea state across the defined area rather than conditions at a single fishing ground.
No standard wind shift, force or sea condition defines Fisher. Current official forecasts, warnings and boundaries should replace generalised historical descriptions.
