Dangerous Wreck

A charted wreck whose depth or clearance may present a hazard to surface navigation.

It is identified by the appropriate dangerous-wreck symbol rather than by a special abbreviation. Mariners should use the symbol, charted depth or clearance and current chart information instead of assuming that Wk alone describes the level of danger.
